The over/under for Eagles’ wins in 2011 is 10.5.  The Eagles won 10 games last year and they added a lot of talent in the draft, free agency and trades during the off-season.  When backup QB Vince Young called the Eagles the “Dream Team”, it put a bulls eye on the back of their jerseys.  Even with that being said, the Eagles only have six games against teams that had winning records in 2010.  With that in mind, I would make a small bet on the over for Eagles’ wins in 2011.

The Eagles were a solid 11-5 team last season.  With Donovan McNabb & Brian Westbrook out of town it will be up to Kevin Kolb & Lesean McCoy to carry the torch of the Eagles’ offense.  I would have to take the under with the Eagles until the kids prove that they are the real deal.  The Eagles are also 28-1 to win the Super Bowl and I think Eagles’ fans should keep their money in the bank on that one.

I really like the Eagles this season and I think they will get back to the playoffs.  With that in mind I would take the over with the Eagles in 2008.  I just think they did a great job in bringing in new talent in the offseason and it will pay off in the win-loss record in 2008.

If I could look in my crystal ball and see that Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook would both start in every game this season I would take the over.  But the Eagles defense will make me pick the under for the Eagles this season.  The front seven of the Eagles defense will be pushed around every week which will put a ton of pressure on the offense.  Take the under.
