The Eagles have lost starting left guard Todd Herremans for the first few weeks of the season due to a stress fracture.  Herremans played in all 16 games (15 starts) for the Eagles last season.  He has now played in 52 games (50 starts) in his 4 year career with the Eagles.  25-year old Nick Cole will step in for Herremans and he is huge at 6′0″, 350 pounds.  Cole played in 16 games (5 starts) for the Eagles last season.  He has now played in 48 games (6 starts) in three seasons with the Eagles.  The Eagles will likely suffer a dropoff without Herremans in the starting lineup but they appear confident that Cole will do a good job for them.
