The Eagles have signed 29-year old QB Michael Vick to a 1-year, $1.6 million dollar contract with a option worth $5.2 million bucks for the 2010 season.  Vick last played in the NFL in 2006 with the Falcons when he made NFL history becoming the first QB to ever rush for over 1,000 yards in a season (1,039 yards, 8.4 ypc).  He has played six seasons in his NFL career covering 74 games in which he completed 930 of 1,730 passes (53.8%) for 11,505 yards with 71 TD passes and 52 interceptions (75.7 QB Rating).  He has also carried the ball 529 times for 3,859 yards (7.3 ypc) with 21 TD runs.  Kevin Kolb was once thought of to be Donovan McNabb’s eventual successor but he’s the big loser with the addition of Michael Vick as he will likely lose his roster spot.
