7. (230) King Dunlap, OT

Blogged under Bloglockers, The Draft Report, Front Page, General by admin on Saturday 7 June 2008 at 7:23 pm

King Dunlap is a massive man at 6′8″, 310 pounds but he doesn’t play a big man’s game.  He’s quick in setting up to pass block but he lacks a punch in the running game.  He got benched last season at Auburn for not playing hard.  Andy Reid will need to be all over Dunlap as he has the potential to start in the NFL but he might not have the desire to reach his full potential.  Dunlap played in 47 games (20 starts) in his career at Auburn.  This was a good pick this late in the draft for the Eagles as they can simply cut him loose if he comes to Training Camp lazy.
