2. (49) DeSean Jackson, WR
The Eagles were ecstatic to see DeSean Jackson still available with the second of their two 2nd round picks. He is a tad small at 5′11″, 180 pounds but he can run like the wind (4.4 40). Jackson also is a electric punt returner and that is a big need for the Eagles who lost a game or two on special teams. Jackson played in 37 games (33 starts) at California and he caught 162 passes for 2,423 yards (15.0 avg) with 22 TD grabs. Look for him to slot in behind Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown as the possible #3 WR on the Eagles as a rookie.
