2. (47) Trevor Laws, DT
The Eagles traded out of the first round but they felt the need to add a big body inside and that’s why they selected Trevor Laws out of Notre Dame. He’s a tad small at 6′0″, 297 pounds but he fits in better in a four man front like the Eagles employ. Laws played in 49 games (37 starts) at Notre Dame and he made 224 tackles, had 22.5 tackles for a loss, had 12 sacks, batted down 4 passes, forced 2 fumbles and recovered 4 fumbles. Laws will be a backup to start his career with the Eagles but he has the potential to start in the future.
