The Eagles needed help at defensive end and Abiamiri looks like he’ll be able to help them soon.  But, despite all of his physical skills Abiamiri sometimes disappears on the field.  He looks like he’ll be more of a left end in the Pros and that’s fine with the Eagles.  Abiamiri has nice size at 6′4″, 271 pounds and he runs a 4.8 40 which is outstanding for a player his size.  In 49 games (30 starts) at Notre Dame, Abiamiri made 128 tackles, 40 tackles for a loss, had 21.5 sacks, batted down 2 passes and forced 3 fumbles.  Abiamiri was a nice pick for the Eagles, much better than their first pick of the draft.
