The Philadelphia Eagles must be really worried about Donovan McNabb’s health which is the only reason I can see for them drafting another QB.  Despite already having McNabb, A.J. Feeley and Kelly Holcomb already on the roster they drafted a QB anyway.  Kolb is a big guy (6′3″, 218) and he has a strong enough arm to make very throw he will need to at the pro level.  Kolb played in 50 games (all starts) at Houston and he completed 964 of 1,565 (61.6%) passes for 12,964 yards with 85 TD passes and 31 interceptions.  It will likely take time for Kolb to adjust to the NFL after playing in a run and shoot style of offense in Houston.  This pick seems like a reach as they probably could have got him in the 3rd round.
