The Eagles should have won this football game, period!  When you roll up a 506-196 yardage advantage in a game….you’re supposed to win!  Donovan McNabb completed 22 of 35 passes for 302 yards with 3 TDs and 3 INT (two of which were returned for TDs by Ronde Barber).  McNabb also carried the ball 6 times for 76 yards.  RB Brian Westbrook had a fantastic game carrying the ball 13 times for 101 yards (7.8 ypc) and caught 7 passes for 113 yards and a TD.  Correll Buckhalter carried the ball 8 times for 31 yards (3.9 yc).  WR Reggie Brown caught 4 passes for 77 yards and a TD.  Back-up RB Thomas Tapeh caught 2 passes for 15 yards and a TD.

ILB Jeremiah Trotter had 12 tackles and OLB Matt McCoy had 9 tackles.  The defense played great all day long.  The Eagles allowed the Bucs to run for 111 yards on 30 carries (3.7 ypc).  The Bucs completed 13 of 26 passes for 85 net yards passing.

The Eagles lost this game because Matt Bryant (who’s been kicking horrible all season), kicked a 62 yard FG as time expired.  This loss hurts as the Eagles will no longer be in first place after tonight’s Cowboys-Giants game.
