The Eagles special teams give them a huge advantage in the field position battles.  The Eagles only allow 3.8 yards per punt return and 22.1 yards per kick-off return.

David Akers has connected 5 of 7 FGs and all 20 XPTs.  Punter Dirk Johnson is doing pretty well averaging 42.3 yards per punt for a net gain of 37.8 yards.  Johnson places 24% of his punts inside the other teams’ 20 yard line.

Dexter Wynn returns both punts and kick-offs for the Eagles and he’s a good one.  Wynn is averaging 11.0 yards per punt return and 20.6 yards per kick-off return.
