The final score is a little mis-leading as this game went to the final play until Lito Sheppard intercepted a pass and returned it 102 yards for a TD.  This was a good, hard-hitting football game in which the Eagles proved thier mettle against a tough Dallas team.  Donovan McNabb was on fire, completing 18 of 33 passes for 354 yards and 2 TDs, he also ran one in for a TD from 1 yard out.  RB Brian Westbrook was bottled up pretty good by the Cowboys, as he only carried the ball 11 times for 33 yards (3.0 ypc) and a TD, he also caught 5 passes for 53 yards.  Little-used WR Hank Baskett had a great game catching 3 passes for 112 yards and a TD.  Reggie Brown also had a very nice game, catching 4 passes for 79 yards and a TD.  TE LJ Smith caught 2 passes for 63 yards.

The defense gave up some yards, but they also made alot of big plays.  CB Lito Sheppard was all over the place as he made 8 tackles, defensed 5 passes and intercepted 2 passes, one that he returned 102 yards for a TD to seal the victory.  DE Trent Cole had 8 tackles, a sack and recovered a fumble.  DT Darwin Walker was all over Drew Bledsoe as he had 3 sacks and 3 tackles.  The Cowboys carried the ball 39 times for 146 yards (3.7 ypc).  The Eagles allowed the Cowboys to complete 18 of 38 passes for 174 net yards passing.

An overall great effort by the Philadelphia Eagles who silenced the critics by getting a win over a solid football team.
