Eagles vs. Packers

The Eagles have been an offensive machine so far this season, averaging 436 yards per game and 28.7 points.  The Packers have been hot on offense the last two games averaging 32.5 points.

Look for the Packers to attempt to run the ball with Ahman Green (215 yards)  and throw short passes.  The Eagles already have 16 sacks, so Favre will have to be careful and not panic.  WRs Donald Driver (269 yards) and Greg Jennings (173 yards) could have huge games if the offensive line gives Favre time to throw the ball.

The Eagles will try to utilize Brian Westbrook (256 yds. rushing, 164 yds receiving) against the Packers LBs who have played the run tough so far this season.  Donovan McNabb (960 yards) should have a great game against a porous Packers secondary that allows 301 yards passing per game.

I look for the Eagles to win a high-scoring, entertaining football game.

Did the whole “knowledgeable” football community fail to notice that Mike Tirico replaced William Penn with Ben Franklin on the city hall building in Philadelphia?

I was born and raised in Philadelphia but have lived in South Carolina for the last 20 years. Unless the city of Philadelphia has indeed replaced William Penn with Ben Franklin, I for one am appalled that a correction was not made to that incorrect statememt!
