Brodrick Bunkley (1, DT)
Brodrick Bunkley is an absolute animal. Bunkley will probably immediately be the starting nose tackle that the Eagles so sorely missed after getting rid of Corey Simon last season. Bunkley lives in the opposing backfield causing severe disruption of the offense up the middle. Bunkley can consistently split double teams and almost always wins against head-up blockers.
Bunkley’s career at Florida State was interesting. The first three seasons at FLA ST he appeared in 31 games (9 starts) and made 63 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and had 2.5 sacks. His senior year however, something clicked. He started all 13 games he played in and registered 66 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and had nine sacks.
The Eagles believe that they’re getting a dominant nose guard/tackle. And judging from last season, it looks like they are correct.
